Ex-Tennessee Titans scout Blaise A. Taylor is accused of two first-degree murder counts in connection with the poisoning deaths of his girlfriend Jade Benning and her unborn child.
Benning suddenly unexpectedly passed away on March 6, 2023, her 25th birthday, without ever speaking to the police. Two days later, her five-month-old foetus also died.

Authorities concluded that Benning had been “poisoned without her knowledge” after Taylor visited her home after months of investigation by the police, scientists, and medical examiner.
Taylor left for Utah following the deaths. His return to Nashville will be arranged by the MNPD in collaboration with Utah authorities.
Who is Blaise Taylor?
Blaise Taylor is a former college football player at Arkansas State. In addition, the 27-year-old has worked as an NFL scout and college analyst. He was an analyst for Utah State University football team for a brief time in 2023.
Former Arkansas State football player and recently hired analyst for the Texas A&M Aggies, Blaise Taylor has been arrested on first degree murder charges.

Over the course of his football career, Taylor has amassed 88 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, five interceptions, 23 pass break-ups, a forced fumble, and a blocked kick. He was also named to the all-conference team in 2014 and 2016.
Taylor gained Fame when he filed a federal lawsuit against Auburn University in 2010. He claimed that he was discriminated against by a coach and the school system because of his hairstyle. Taylor attended the Auburn High School while his father worked for Auburn University under then-head football coach Gene Chizik.

Blaise Taylor was in a relationship with Jade Benning. Investigators say she passed away on March 6, 2018, her 25th birthday, at Nashville’s Vanderbilt University Hospital.
Benning’s health deteriorated rapidly, and on February 27, 2023, the 5-month-old foetus Taylor is thought to have fathered passed away. When Benning paid Taylor a visit at her flat on February 25, 2023, investigators later discovered that Taylor had poisoned her without her knowledge.
