A 21-year-old, Ben Bennett, who passed away tragically in a skiing accident last week is being remembered as someone who “lived his life to the fullest”
For those who are unfamiliar, let us tell you, the neuroscience student died unexpectedly in a skiing accident in the Cannon Mountain on January 18, 2023.
Ben was studying neuroscience at the University of New Hampshire and graduated as valedictorian from his high school.
His friends remembered him as someone who would goof off and enjoyed a wide range of activities.

After learning about the unexpected demise of the neuroscience student, his college friends set up a GoFundMe page to help his grieving family to cover for funeral costs as they are paying tributes to the late student.
For those who are not sure what happened, let us tell you, Bennett went skiing with a couple of friends on January 18 at Cannon Mountain.
As per a report by the Boston Globe, Ben allegedly is known to be an experienced skier and was even wearing a helmet. However, his friends got worried when they hadn’t seen him for about an hour and a half.
Unfortunately, he was later found unresponsive in a wood trail on Cannon Mountain. It was the 2nd fatal skiing accident in New Hampshire in the last 3 days.
Who is Ben Bennett?
For those who are unversed, let us tell you, Benn whose full name is Benjamin Joseph Bennett, was born in Manchester, New Hampshire on March 1, 2001, to Norman and Cindy Bennett.
As per his obituary, Ben was known by “all as being someone who was funny, kind, generous, intelligent, and hard-working.”
It further reveals that in his school he was known as the “class clown” and was a driven man with big goals.
After graduating from high school with highest honor grades, he passed his first college semester with straight A’s.
He served in a sterile processing unit at Portsmouth Regional Hospital as a Supervisor and was an aspiring Neurosurgeon. He even enrolled in an online school to be a Surgical tech.
As per his friends, Ben loved outdoor activities such as hikes, kayaking, biking, and skiing.
His friends have set up GoFundMe and GiveSendGo pages to help his family cover the funeral costs. As per reports, services will take place on Wednesday, January 25, 2023.
At the moment, a total of $16,180 has been donated to Bennett’s family, who has budgeted $20,000. The fundraiser was organised by Benโs relative, Katie Bennett.
As per his relatives, the money will go for his ‘celebration to life,’ as well as for paying off his car, so that it can stay with the family.
Katie in her statement stated that Ben’s siblings love out of state so the money will help them fly back home. Bennett is survived by his parents, grandmother, and 12 siblings.
