A well-known Dehradun builder named Baba Sahni aka Satyendra Singh Sahni killed himself with the Gupta Brothers of South Africa now arrested
Baba Sahni aka Satyendra Sahni committed suicide by plunging from the 8th floor of a building that was still under construction on Rajpur Road on 24 May.
The incident shocked the neighbourhood and brought attention to serious underlying problems like threats and money conflicts.

Satendra Sahni, also known as Baba Sahni, committed suicide by leaving behind a note addressed to Pushkar Singh Dhami, the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

When police learned that a man was laying hurt and unconscious close to the Pacific Golf State building in Rajpur, they immediately arrived at the scene around 11:30 a.m. The individual was recognised as Sahni, a builder from the affluent Race Course neighbourhood.
In the note, Sahni claimed to have been suffering from severe depression as a result of ongoing threats and financial disputes with a number of businessmen, including the African Gupta brothers.The note disclosed that Sahni had been subjected to intense harassment, which had worsened his melancholy and prompted him to make this grave move.
Ajay and Anil Gupta were apprehended by the Dehradun police shortly after the incident, and they were subsequently placed under jail to be questioned.
In 2023, Ranvir Sahni, the son of Satyendra, had lodged a complaint against the Gupta brothers.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Dehradun, Ajay Singh revealed in an interview that the son of the deceased builder filed a FIR regarding the suicide. Subsequently, the evidence led to the detention of Ajay and Anil Gupta, dubbed the “Gupta brothers.” It was discovered that the deceased’s business partnership had him under unwarranted pressure. Someone threatened him.

After being forced to resign from government in 2018 because to corruption charges, Zuma was found guilty of contempt of court in a 2021 case and given a 15-month sentence. In the end, his jail sentence was less than three months.
