Mukund Agiwal tops ICAI CA final exam
Mukund Agiwal from Madhya Pradesh has secured the All India Rank 1 in the ICAI CA Final exam, scoring a total of 500 out of 600 marks with an impressive 83.33%. As the ICAI released the results ahead of schedule, Mukund received a congratulatory call from the ICAI president just shortly after the announcement. Before this, Mukund had earlier secured AIR 24 in the CA Intermediate exam and has now topped the Final, completing one of the toughest professional exams in the country.

Mukund Agiwal is a native of Dhamnod in the Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh. He was born and raised in a small town and managed to break stereotypes as he dominated national-level ranks. Mukund is the first student from the district to achieve this distinction, and he is still currently in his early 20s.

Mukund Agiwal comes from a humble background, and he is the son of Pawan Agiwal, who runs a small stationery shop, and his wife, Jyoti Agiwal, who is a homemaker. He is the first from his family to become a CA and credits his success to his parents’ constant support.
Education
Mukund Agiwal completed his schooling at Gurukul School in Dhamnod and cleared Class 12 back in 2021 with Commerce and Mathematics. Due to the pandemic, Mukund had to prepare for the CA Foundation exams from home and scored a total of 344 out of 400. After clearing the Foundation, he then moved to Indore to pursue coaching and later to Pune for final preparation. Mukund reportedly took separate coaching for different subjects, combining both online and offline learning. He also completed his mandatory three-year articleship before appearing for the final exam.
