He is the son of actress Anuradha Rajadhyaksha and film director Abhay Rajadhyaksha. Anuraj Rajadhyaksha is his younger brother and makes his living as an actor. Year 2010 saw Abhi and Niyu meet at the Curriculum event held at the New Mexico College Utrecht Club. The pair got married on May 6, 2019.
Since then, both Abhiraj and Niyati have dreamed of travelling and telling stories, but their professional pursuits were leading them elsewhere. Niyati was an accountant, while Abhiraj worked as a commercial cameraman. In order to have the flexibility to travel as often as she wanted, Niyati chose to become a freelance writer and resigned her job six months after graduation.
