How Sushil Mann acted to save Rishabh Pant?
Indian star cricketer Rishabh Pant, who just avoided a catastrophic vehicle accident in the early hours of December 30, was transported to the hospital. According to bus driver Sushil, who was the first person to arrive and take action at the scene of the crash, the star batsman was extricated from the shattered car. On their way from Haridwar, Sushil and his crew stumbled upon the shattered car of Pant and immediately halted their bus to rescue any surviving passenger.
After finding survivor inside the car, Sushil and conductor Paramjit Singh broke the car window to rescue the injured Pant and immediately called the ambulance. Owing to the quick thinking of Sushil and Paramjit, medical team was able to provide timely treatment and save Pant from any serious injury.

During his interview after the incident, Sushil revealed that he didn’t know the survivor was Pant initially and only acted like any human should to save another person. It was also revealed that Mann found 8,000 INR inside the car but immediately returned the same to Pant inside the ambulance. After hearing about the news, Uttarakhand Police has praised the actions of Sushil and promised to reward him, his crew, and fellow locals who helped Pant without any hesitation.
According to latest media reports, Pant seemed well from spinal & brain MRI scans and hence, he is headed towards speedy recovery. On Sunday, Pant’s knee and ankle will be scanned to ascertain his wellness. After hearing this news, fellow Indian cricketers were relieved and thanked Sushil for saving their teammate from succumbing to any fatal injury.
