What Did Police Reveal?
The police stated that the teenager, son of a real estate developer, was intoxicated at the time of the accident. Sources revealed that the boy admitted his father knew he was out drinking and had the car.
The father has been arrested and will be questioned by the police. As per authorities, Vishal Agrawal, a real estate developer, was arrested early Tuesday morning in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar after being on the run.
Agrawal, the father of the 17-year-old allegedly involved in the Pune car accident, will be presented in court later today. He faces charges under sections 75 and 77 of the Juvenile Justice Act.

What Exactly Happened?
For the unversed, the Incident occurred around 3:15 am on Sunday when a group of friends were returning on motorbikes after a party.
At the Kalyani Nagar junction, a speeding luxury car collided with one of the motorcycles, leading to the deaths of Anis Awadhiya and Ashwini Costa.
The Juvenile Justice Board granted the teenager bail on the same day and ordered him to write an essay on road accidents, a decision that has faced criticism.
Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar stated, “The police have taken the incident seriously and have taken action under IPC section 304 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder).
“We also moved two applications in this case and took action under sections 75 (punishment for cruelty to child) and 77 (penalty for giving intoxicating liquor or narcotic drug or psychotropic substance to a child) of the Juvenile Justice Act against the father of the accused.”
The Pune police emphasized, “Any misconception of soft peddling by the police is not correct. Anyone found supporting the accused shall face severe punishment. Have faith in us. The guilty will be punished irrespective of their economic status.”
What Did Witnesses Say?
An eyewitness told the media that there were three people in the Porsche at the time of the accident.
According to the eyewitness, one person fled the scene after the crash, and all three occupants of the sports car were allegedly drunk.
