On Saturday, when West Ham United played Wolverhampton Wanderers, Jarrod Bowen had a very interesting evening with video of his fingers viral

In a match between two of the worst teams in the Premier League in 2022/23, the Hammers showed that they’re still a force to be reckoned with under manager David Moyes.

And even though Wolves’ defence is known for being tough to break down, the home team still found a way to get through Bruno Lage’s solid back line.

Both West Ham And Jarrod Bowen Got Back On Track In The Match!

Gianluca Scamacca, who joined the team in the summer, scored it with a fierce strike. That showed he wasn’t just good at scoring screamers when he played for Sassuolo.

From then on, the stage was set for Bowen to get back to the form he had in 2021/22 that got him an England call-up but had left him in the past few months.

That’s because the very good winger scored West Ham’s second goal of the night. With a left-footed shot that went past Jose Sa before he had even started to dive.

It felt like a turning point for Moyes’ team and their season as a whole, and it could be what Bowen needs to start scoring goals again.

Bowen makes it 2-0 for West Ham against Wolves.

But that doesn’t mean Bowen had it all his way at the London Stadium. He also caught people’s attention when he got hurt in a pretty bad way.

Bowen looked upset in the second half of the video that was shown on TV. It looked like the fourth finger on his right hand had come loose.

Football players often get hurt, but it’s never nice to see a player clearly worried about something that happened to their body during a game.

And that was definitely the case with Bowen, whose finger looked noticeably bent out of its usual position, giving football fans watching a sight that wasn’t for the faint of heart.

In the Wolves game, Bowen hurt his finger badly.

What Actually Went Wrong?

With a bandage on the finger in question, Bowen was able to keep playing.

As of now, it’s not clear why or how Bowen’s finger got bent out of shape. But he realised it not long after he scored his first Premier League goal of the season and was celebrating.

The Sun says that the 25-year-old’s smile turned into a grimace. Right after he celebrated his important goal with his happy teammates Declan Rice and Kurt Zouma.

The fact that Bowen kept playing until the end of the game is sign that his finger is much better now. We hope Jarrod gets better soon and that his injury isn’t too bad.
