The video of a brawl between a Suns fan and Russell Westbrook has gone viral
On Sunday, April 16, 2023, Game 1 of the NBA Playoffs between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Phoenix Suns was a lot of fun. The guests won the game with five points at the Footprint Centre. During break, however, a fight broke out between Clippers guard Russell Westbrook and a Suns fan.
Westbrook was going to the locker room when a fan seemed to make fun of him. This led to a fight. Here is all you need to know about the incident.
Russell Westbrook caught on video in altercation with Suns fan
Many people recorded the incident on film, and you can hear Westbrook say, “Watch your mouth, motherf*cker,” and the fan say, “Take it like a man.” Before things got out of hand, the security guard stepped in and put them apart.
Since then, the event has gone viral on social media, and many people have shared their thoughts on it. Some people liked that Westbrook stood up for himself, while others didn’t like that he used bad language.

Even though he got into a fight, Westbrook came back strong in the second half. He had two steals and three blocks, including one late on Devin Booker. But his effort in the first half was not up to par. He had five points, five rebounds, and two assists.

Kawhi Leonard scored 38 points to lead the Clippers, and Russell Westbrook had 9 points, 11 boards, and 8 assists. On the other hand, Kevin Durant (27) and Devin Booker (26) scored a total of 53 points, but they couldn’t help their team take the lead at home. In the end, the Clippers beat the Suns by one game in the first round of the NBA Playoffs in 2023.
