Former professional kickboxer and divisive media figure Andrew Tate was recently detained in Romania with a video of him hitting and beating a woman viral
He and his brother Tristan Tate were arrested on accusations of operating a criminal organisation that targets young women for sexual exploitation.
According to reports, both brothers are being questioned by the Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT) on suspicion of human trafficking and rape.

Tate was kicked off of Britain’s Big Brother (UK) in 2016 when unsettling footage from the show appeared online; the video’s original source remains a mystery. Many factors contributed to Tate’s rise to popularity, including his opulent lifestyle in Romania, the establishment of Hustler’s University, and his focus on young men.
Even though Tate was already a hot issue online before he was banned from social media, his profile has recently risen in prominence as a result of the ban. Supporters of Tate include men who were encouraged to strive hard for a better life by his message, while his detractors include women who are offended by his misogynistic views and the fact that he supposedly raised his hands to a woman.
Before the video concludes, Andrew Tate grabs a belt and continues to beat a woman.
In the video below, a young Andrew Tate can be seen violently slapping a woman while asking her, “Did I utter the word “listen?” The video cuts to Tate pulling the woman by the hair as she lies on the bed, and then he reaches for his leather belt.
