In the video, at around the 30 second mark, the man loses his grip and plummets roughly 20 feet to the ground below. A young kid carrying a basketball runs past the n*ked man as he walks under the station, looking shocked.

“Look at this dude … Holy f–king. Homie acting a fool,” The bystander who filmed the man without clothes on Parkchester street said. As the train approaches, it stops, and then resumes moving slowly away from the man, who mustering all his power, kicks his legs and tries to grip the outside edge of the southbound rails with the other hand.

“He dropped, He dropped, He dropped,” the videographer says before approaching the man — who is on his stomach on the pavement, but not visibly bleeding — and declaring, “Yo, I’m gonna get the cops.”

Posts of the video were made on social media, where users offered their opinions on the people who filmed the incident or looked the other way rather than calling for assistance.

“Everything about this video shows that we live in sick and failing society/culture. Not just the guy naked hanging from the subway. But also not a single bystander cared to do anything but video it. It’s just another day,” one commenter tweeted.
