Over the years, if there’s one country which has managed to make itself as hated as the US, its England. The land’s decadent and petulant personality hasn’t gone down too well especially with its neighbouring European states.
And rather than trying to clean their act up and get their house in order, the innate crass and unsavoury attitude has become a norm for the English. It’s a narrative which was paid testament to in Euro 2020 with the English sides making their side extremely disliked by the world.
Treading on thin ice after their laser show against Denmark, booing the Italians national anthem and barging into Wembley prior to the final, the side’s supporters had one last chance to redeem themselves. Being graceful in defeat would have salvaged lost reputation as the county was downed by Italy in penalties.
However, a snake remains a snake even after shedding its skin and the Britishers showed that. Horrendous visuals have emanated from the country since their defeat of the country’s citizen pummeling each other as brawls erupted across the country.

However, what has left an extremely bitter taste in everyone’s mouth are the visuals of Italian supporters being beaten up. Ensuing the end of the encounter, English supporters were filmed handing the Italians a hammering outside Wembley to once again show why they are so toxic.

While there’s been no official statement from the FA, UEFA or Italian football on the incidents, its only prudent to believe that the guilty will be allowed to walk away without any trouble. The FA has been a meek and timid spectator over the years, a body more interested in making ridiculous rules rather than solving real problems.
