The “f**k off back to Chelsea” chant was direct at on loan player Billy Gilmour by Norwich City fans
Although he’s far from thrived during his loan spell at Norwich City, Billy Gilmour has by far been the worst of the club’s problems this season. However, the club’s fans decided the player was the perfect punching bag for them with Gilmour facing incredible hate during the club’s 3-0 trashing at the hands of Crystal Palace.

Enduring yet another sorry first half, the Scottish player was pelted with chants of “f**k off back to Chelsea” by the visiting supporters. Video footage of the tie shows Norwich City fans boisterously belting out the chant towards Gilmour who remained unfazed to come back and deliver a solid second half performance.

Gilmour who is currently at the club on loan from Chelsea has made a name for himself in a short period of time with some stellar displays. While he still has a long race to run before he can become a mainstay of a Premier League outfit, Gilmour clearly has talent in abundance, a footballer who can go on to flourish in the years to come.
Norwich City meanwhile slumped to another laggard and dreary defeat at Selhurst Park with Crystal Palace wiping the floor with them. While the season still has a long way to go, the club is already touted as one of the outright favourite to be relegated back to the championship.
Its become a reoccurring theme for the side with the club having slumped back to the championship the last time it had earned promotion to the showpiece Premier League as well.
