Furthermore, this has sparked yet another debate concerning racial relations in the United States. The timing is appropriate given the state of the country.

The video, which was first posted by the X (previously Twitter) account “i Expose Racists &,” shows a Kaiser nurse Natsha Chand repeatedly and violently yelling the N-word at a Black woman during a fight. The event allegedly started after a supposed parking lot altercation, however the circumstances surrounding it are still unknown. While others in the background show disbelief, the woman, who looks to be of South Asian ancestry, is seen pointing and shouting racial epithets without hesitation.

The altercation happened at the well-known Pinole restaurant Pear Street Bistro. The Black woman experiencing the abuse was recording while she was being verbally abused. Despite the verbal abuse, she maintained her composure.

She did, however, respond to the woman’s insults and smears by arguing back. The emotional harm caused by the slurs is clear even if there isn’t a physical altercation at the end of the film.

The woman criticized the Black woman’s lashes and nails in addition to her racial epithets. She also referred to her by other derogatory terms. The Black woman was also yelling obscenities at her.

Reactions of netizens

In just a few hours, the video has received hundreds of reactions. Users of social media on all platforms have voiced their shock and incredulity at the blatant use of a word that has been associated with tyranny and bloodshed for millennia. Some demanded legal action, while others drew attention to a more significant systemic problem.
