Winning bronze in wrestling for India at the Tokyo Olympics, Bajrang Punia showed why he was touted as one of the outright favourites for a medal from the Indian contingent. Although he faltered in the semi-final, he avenged his defeat with a comprehensive 8-0 win in the bronze medal bout.

And his victory was marked with a boisterous welcome by his family and supporters who turned up in scores as Bajrang landed at the Delhi Airport.
