The Wankhede stadium, which was established in 1974 and renovated in 2010, serves as the headquarters for the MCA, BCCI, and IPL.
This season marks the fourteenth season that the Wankhede Stadium will host matches in the tournament.

The pitches in the Wankhede stadium have produced big, high-scoring matches over the years. However, the wickets at the venue also provided good bounce and movement during the early parts of the game. Moreover, the games also favour the chasing teams due to the dew at night.
Mumbai Wankhede Stadium weather forecast
Eather forecast reports state maximum temperatures of 35°C to 37°C during April in Mumbai. This will reduce slightly to 23°C to 26°C in the evening. Meanwhile, in May, the temperatures will slightly drop to 35°C and below during the day, while the nights will range from 25°C to 27°C. As of now, there is no forecast for rain, but some showers could take place in both April and May.
