Anthony Davis and Dwight Howard ended up pushing each other during their fight on the Lakers bench
Although we are only two games into the NBA 2021 season, things have little time in unraveling for the Lakers. Slipping to two successive defeats after losing six preseason fixtures, the side clearly has a long race to run before it can start functioning as a complete unit.
However, the side has more work to do than just get its house in order tactically. Everything is clearly not well between the side’s players as well with the unit’s defeat to the Suns at the Staples Center alluding towards the narrative.

While the entire set of events which unraveled were extremely unpleasant and sent the fire bells ringing in the Lakers camp, the side itself tried to firefight the beef after the game. Davis talked about how the fracas was nothing more than a disagreement of opinions between the two players.
“Just a pick and roll scene… that was it, you know, I’m gonna say man I’m trying to figure, not just me and him, but all of us trying to figure out the defensive end and something happened and I was saying one thing and he was saying another on the scheme and one thing led to another and like I said we talked about it and left it in the lockerroom at halftime,” Davis said after the Lakers defeat.
