For the unversed, after the second season of the Uttar Pradesh T20 League has kicked off on August 25, 2024.
Following the success of the inaugural season of the Uttar Pradesh T20 League, the Uttar Pradesh cricket association has announced that the competition for this year’ will run from August 25 to September 14.

For the curious, a total of six teams will compete in the Uttar Pradesh T20 League and these teams are as:
Lucknow Falcons,
Gorakhpur Lions,
Kashi Rudras,
Kanpur Super Stars,
Meerut Mavericks,
Noida Super Kings.
Fans of the league will be able to witness that this year’s competition will follow a double round-robin format.

Total Matches & Schedules
The U.P. T20 League 2024, which features 30 matches, as aforesaid will be held from August 25 to September 9, with the playoffs starting on September 11 and the grand final taking place on September 14.
All 34 games of the Uttar Pradesh T20 League 2024 will be hosted at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.
Defending Champions
Former Indian captain Suresh Raina will serve as the brand ambassador for this season. Kashi Rudras, the defending champions, led by Karan Sharma, is all geared to face the Meerut Maverick, the finalists from last year, in the opening match of the Uttar Pradesh T20 League 2024.
The league stage will feature double-headers, with matches scheduled at 3:30 PM IST and 7:30 PM IST on all days except August 25 and September 9.
Fans can enjoy all the action live at the stadium, witnessing thrilling performances from Uttar Pradesh’s top white-ball players.

The tournament kicks off with an opening game between the Kashi Rudras and Meerut Mavericks, with the first ball scheduled for 8 PM IST.
Prior to the match, an opening ceremony will take place featuring performances by Bollywood stars Kriti Sanon, Ayushmann Khurana, and Badshah, starting at 5:30 PM IST.

Tickets for the opening game and ceremony are available at the BookMyShow app. The tickets for the inaugral day ranged from Rs. 300 to Rs. 3000 with the most expensive ticket being for the South Corporate Box.
For the remaining matches, tickets will be available for as low as ₹49.
