“Some n**gas make millions, other n**gas make memes,” Dennis Schroder Mocks Himself For Turning Down $84 Million Los Angeles Lakers’ Contract

Dennis Schroder has decided to take a jibe at himself for his gaffe at turning down a mammoth contract extension from the Los Angeles Lakers

Ahead of the 2022 NBA season, a bevy of trades have taken place with players switching to greener pastures and teams leaving no stone unturned in a bid to bolster their ranks.

However, we have been in for scores of inexplicable moves as well. Topping the list is Dennis Schroder’s move to Boston Celtics with the team picking him up as a free agent for a measly amount of what he was offered by Los Angeles Lakers.

Dennis Schroder Sees The Hilarious Side Of His Refusal To Sign A Contract Extension With The Lakers

Despite being offered a staggering $84 million contract extension by the Lakers, Dennis had decided to turn down the offer. Given his tanking form and inability to arrest that slump, Dennis saw his value dwindle as well with him settling for a $5,890,000 one year contract with the Celtics.

Dennis seems to have finally realised how absolutely ridiculous his decision was with the player taking to Instagram to mock himself. The Celtics man talked about how some n**gas made money whilst some made memes with him seeing the funny side of his decision to spurn an extremely lucrative extension from the Lakers.

Schroder’s wife had meanwhile thrown her weight behind her husband’s decision to reject the extension back in August with her saying, “I’m so proud of my husband that he made this decision to stay true to himself and to fight for his goals and his vision. I know not everyone understands this. They would choose money before anything else.
