28-year-old Kameron Edwards was born on November 2, 1996. He is 6ft 6in tall and weighs 225 lb (102 kg). Kessler, Edwards’ younger brother, was his teammate for two seasons while playing collegiate basketball for Pepperdine and is currently a professional player for the Dallas Mavericks. Edwards graduated with a master’s degree in law.

Kameron went to high school in Etiwanda. As a junior, Edwards started for the 27–5 Eagles, averaging 13.6 points and a team-high 7.2 rebounds. He averaged 16.6 points and 8 rebounds per game as a senior.

Edwards scored 29 points against Damien High School and a season-high 36 points against Gahr High School. As a senior, he was selected to the first team of the CIF and was twice named to the Baseline League and the Inland Valley All-Inland Valley. Edwards committed on September 15, 2014, to Pepperdine and graduated in four years with a degree in organizational communication. He then pursued a master’s degree in legal studies.

Born in Pasadena, California, he is the son of Ada and Fred Edwards and has two siblings, Kyle and Kessler. He chose to attend Pepperdine because of the beautiful campus, it’s a Christian school, the great coaching staff and to play in the WCC.

Kameron Edwards career

As a rookie, Kameron Edwards averaged 7.2 points and 4.2 rebounds per game while starting 28 of 32 games for Pepperdine. He was selected to the West Coast Conference All-rookie Team. Due to a fractured jaw, Edwards had to miss the 2016–17 season.

He had a concussion in December 2017 that kept him out of five games. He received the Honourable Mention All-WCC award. Edwards was selected as one of 30 applicants for the Senior CLASS Award in January 2020.

Edwards joined the Pro Basketball League’s (PBL) Kangoeroes Mechelen on May 31, 2020. Following a successful tryout, he joined the NBA G League’s Santa Cruz Warriors in October 2021. On November 4, nevertheless, he was released.

The NBA G League’s Agua Caliente Clippers acquired Edwards on February 23, 2022. On February 26, 2022, he was subsequently waived; on February 27, 2022, he was reacquired once again. The Ontario Clippers re-acquired Edwards on December 17, 2022, but on February 4, 2023, he was waived.

Edwards joined the Grand Rapids Gold on October 30, 2023, but on November 7, he was dismissed.
