Following the end of the Elite Group stage, the knockout stages of the Ranji Trophy 2024 is all set to begin very soon, find out more about the quarter-final matches schedule
Notably, the competition will start on Friday (February 23), taking place across four venues in Nagpur, Mumbai, Coimbatore, and Indore.

The knockout rounds will feature eight teams from the four Elite groups – the group winners and runners up.

Ranji Trophy 2024 knockout round preview
The knockout rounds will start with the quarterfinals, where the teams from alternate groups will face each other. This means that the Group A winner will face the Group C runner up and so on. Moreover, the teams that top their respective groups will also have the home advantage for the first knockout rounds. Two-time champions Vidarbha will face eight-time winners Karnataka in Quarter-final 1. Meanwhile, record champions Mumbai will face five-time winners Baroda in Quarter-final 2. Quarter-final 3 will feature two-time winners Tamil Nadu face off against two-time champions Saurashtra. On the other hand, 2022 champions Madhya Pradesh will face Andhra in the 4th quarter-final match.

In the last 4 stage, winner of the first quarter-final will meet the winner of the fourth quarter-final in semi-final 1, while winners of quarter-final 3 and 4 will lock horns in semi-final 2.
