“He can keep up in terms of speed,” he told Sport1, “but things can’t go on like this with the incidents.” He’s causing millions of dollars in damage, and a team like Haas can put that money to better use.

At the Monaco Grand Prix, Haas driver Mick Schumacher was involved in a massive crash into the barrier, causing his car to split in half. After the incident at the swimming pool chicane, the safety car was deployed, and he escaped unharmed but was checked over by the medical team on site.
As stewards rushed to clear the debris from the track, the red flag was raised. Kevin Magnussen, Schumacher’s teammate, was also forced out of the race before the German hit the barriers. Magnussen lost water pressure just before Schumacher was forced to retire.
