Lovely Runner is based on an online book called Tomorrow’s Best, which illustrator Doong Doong serialised as a webtoon. On April 8, 2024, it made its tvN debut. It airs every Tuesday and Monday at 20:50 (KST).
The show chronicles the adventures of Im Sol, a devoted fan of Ryu Sun-jae, the idol. Sun-jae’s music provides comfort to Sol, a once-promising film director whose aspirations were dashed after an accident left her paralysed.

But tragedy strikes again, this time in the form of Sun-jae’s untimely death, which leaves Sol devastated. However, destiny has other ideas when Sol awakens in a classroom fifteen years prior to Sun-jae’s and her own mishaps. Perceiving this as an opportunity from above, Sol makes a commitment to alter their own destinies.

The episode 13 of the popular time-slip K-drama Lovely Runner will premiere on tvN on 20 May 2024 at 8:30pm (KST). Episode will be releasing on 21 May at the same time.

The series’ last episode concluded in a devastating way. In order to shield Sun Jae from Kim Young Soo, Im Sol (Kim Hye Yoon) pretends to Ryu Sun Jae (Byeon Woo Seok) and remains in Danpo-Ri. As a result, everyone is eagerly awaiting the next episode.
A preview trailer for Lovely Runner episode 13 was released by tvN, and it provides a glimpse into the plot of the upcoming episode.
The teaser shows Ryu Sun Jae (Byeon Woo Seok) and Im Sol (Kim Hye Yoon) having a great time on their date at an amusement park. Sun Jae suggests that they visit the theme park together once more in the future.
The teaser for Lovely Runner episode 13 also reveals that Sun Jae discovers that Sol has lied to him after returning from Danpo-Ri. She has feigned to have travelled back in time to protect him from the violent felon Kim Young Soo.
As a result, Sun Jae gets quite agitated and starts to worry about Im Sol’s security while she is in Danpo-Ri.
Meanwhile, Kim Young Soo has also arrived in Danpo-Ri, where Sol appears to be in danger. She makes a help request to Kim Tae Sung’s (Song Geon-Hee) father, the police detective. Im Sol is seen fleeing from the criminal at the conclusion of the caravan.
Sun Jae’s voice may be heard immediately after she cries out her name. At the end of the trailer, Sol is in the future. Perhaps she and Sun Jae shouldn’t have met in the first place, she says.
