The club’s ruling sees Irving completely sidelined from the Nets setup till he gets his COVID vaccine. Irving will not be a part of either the team’s preseason or NBA 2022 season modus operandi till he adheres to the league’s guidelines and gets himself inoculated with the vaccine.
In the midst of the massive setback, a source has gone onto claim that Irving isn’t anti-vaxx as is being widely envisaged but is rather against the COVID-19 guidelines in the country. According to The Athletic, the source has gone onto claim that the Nets player is dismayed with unvaccinated people losing their jobs in the country owing to the mandates.
Donald Trump Jr. has meanwhile come out in support of Irving with him claiming the player had taken a wonderful stance.
