KSI reveals Prime Energy drink is a halal product as ingredients are questioned by Muslims

Both KSI and Logan Paul, two well-known YouTubers, have a hand in the invention of Prime energy drink, know is it halal or not

They have about 50 million YouTube subscribers between them. That many supporters ensured the beverage’s mainstream success.

This partnership debuted in the United States earlier this year and has since become an instant hit. Fans in the United Kingdom will not be able to get their hands on it until the year is up, adding to their eagerness to do so. Also, the product is available at Aldi as a “Special Buy,” which means that there is a limited quantity available.

KSI reveals Prime Energy drink is a halal product after ingredients are questioned by Muslims

After screenshots of the Prime Hydration website went popular on Twitter KSI confirmed that he and Logan Paul were behind the drink. Formerly sold exclusively at ASDA and Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium, the beverage’s introduction in Aldi this week has caused a frenzy amongst customers.

Fans flocked to purchase the fruity beverage, which comes in five flavours, but some questioned if it was halal. This week, Prime drinkers were perplexed to learn that the beverage isn’t halal after reading about it on the Prime website’s FAQ page.

Some of the questions addressed include whether or not PRIME items include gluten, whether or not they contain soy, whether or not they are kosher, and whether or not they are halal.

One person tweeted: “On the official Prime website PRIME IS NOT HALAL??? WHICH INGREDIENTS ? WEVE ALL BEEN DRINKING FOR MONTHS!!!”

Tweet: “@KSI PRIME IS NOT HALAL??!!” a second person chimed in. While a third asked, “Is the prime rib halal?” Because it has been declared unlawful by some Muslims.

The beverage has been deemed Halal by KSI

After a storm of comments, however, KSI took to Twitter to set the record straight, adding, “Prime is halal.” You may “refresh, replenish, and refuel” with this drink because it contains BCAAs (branched-chain amino acids), antioxidants, and electrolytes, and it has a natural flavour.

The website must have made a mistake, because the hydration drink consists mostly of water with some extra vitamins and minerals. The term “Halal” is used to describe food that complies with the Islamic dietary regulations, most of which deal with the consumption of meat and alcohol.

Customers at ALDI go crazy over Prime drink

On Thursday, December 29th, Aldi debuted Prime as a promotional item at its lowest price ever of £1.99. A representative for Aldi stated, “As with all Specialbuys, once they’re gone, they’re gone!” All three flavors—Blue Raspberry, Lemon-Lime, and Ice Pop—can be found at Aldi.

Customers are limited to purchasing a single unit of each flavour due to great demand. This week, videos show mayhem at Aldi retailers as customers try to buy the drink but are ultimately unsuccessful.

“We apologise to those who were not successful in obtaining this item. However, demand has been exceedingly high,” an Aldi representative explained to Sky. Since then, the beverages’ popularity has skyrocketed. Now one bottle can be purchased on eBay for fifteen pounds, or more than six times the original price.
