Kevin Garnett’s ex-girlfriend has filed court documents against him for having a secret child two years after his divorce from his ex-wife. According to court documents obtained by Radar, a New York-based woman called Necat Akman filed a petition for custody and maintenance against Garnett in Los Angeles Superior Court earlier this month.

According to the paperwork, the child in question is Naya Garnett, who is two years old. Her birthday date has been listed as April 4, 2020. In the paperwork, Garnett’s ex claimed that Garnett had already accepted fatherhood and would not want a DNA test.

Necat Akman’s Demands, Garnett’s Response, And History of Garnett with Court Cases

Akman did not specify what form of custody order she is seeking in her petition. She did, however, require that Garnett provide medical insurance for Naya and contribute to uninsured medical bills, childcare costs related to Akman’s employment, payment of education related fees plus extracurricular activities, and other expenses incurred by Akman on behalf of Naya.

Garnett has yet to answer in court to the petition. After 14 years of marriage, Garnett’s ex-wife Brandi Padilla filed for divorce in 2017. She blamed their separation on irreconcilable disagreements and requested primary custody of their two girls.

Garnett was ordered to pay his ex-wife $100,000 in child and spousal support in 2019. Brandi Garnett was requesting $46,000 in child support every month.
