Karl Malone is again trending while Lakers’ legend LeBron James surpassed him in the 2nd all-time scoring list. With this talk, people brought up a lot of controversial and disturbing pasts of Utah Jazz legend, one of which was, he impregnating a minor aged 13 when Malone was 20.

Karl Malone Controversies: From Rape Allegations, Bonita Ford Twins, Child Pregnancy With Gloria Bell And Son
Starting with the most talked-about case ever, the Hall of Fame forward, while he was a student and basketball star at Louisiana Tech University in 1983 aged 20, met a 13-year-old girl named Gloria Bell. Malone impregnated the minor and she gave birth to their son named Demetress Bell who played in the NFL for 5 years. It was confirmed that he was the biological father and asked to provide child support by Gloria’s parents. The lawsuit was settled outside court later.

The second controversy was Malone’s twins with Bonita Ford, a woman from his hometown of Summerfield, Louisiana. At the time twins, Daryl and Cherly were born, Malone, as well as Ford, were just 17.
In 1998, a tabloid newspaper named The Globe reported that the Jazz star had been a defendant in paternity lawsuits. It also alleged that Malone was the father of three children, two with Bonita Ford and one with Gloria Bell. Malone did not meet the twins until The Globe reported it after which, he met the Ford twins for the first time. The aftermath of everything was the time it was accepted that Malone is the father for all three kids and since then, he maintained relationships with the kids.
According to a report by Fox Sports, Karl Malone had beef with legendary Lakers star late Kobe Bryant. “We had a little issue. I’m a grown man,” Malone told host Marc Lamont Hill. In 2004, according to the Fox Sports report, Malone was accused of pushing up on Kobe’s wife. That time, ESPN wrote a story that Jazz star’s agent, Dwight Manley, told LA Times that Malone was asked by Venessa, “Hey cowboy, what are you hunting?” She asked this twice as said told by the agent, to which Malone replied, “I’m hunting for little Mexican girls.” The alleged comment was not liked by Kobe.
