Legendary player of Utah Jazz, Karl Malone was briefly described in Michael Jordan’s The Last Dance, during Jordan’s Chicago Bulls’ NBA Finals’ clash against Utah Jazz in the year 1997 and 1998. According to the director of the documentary, Jason Hehir, Malone denied appearing for the interview for the mini-series that revolved around Jordan and the Bulls as well as he didn’t role in it. The refusal had people start talking about Malone and his scandal with Gloria Bell, a 13-year-old minor girl.

In 1984, Utah Jazz legendary player Karl Malone was reported to impregnate a minor girl aged just 13, while the player was aged 20. The player then denied to “pay for the child support” with him also refusing to claim the son despite the DNA test result with Louisiana laws stating that its unlawful to have sex with anyone under the age of 17.
Karl Malone was involved in two paternity lawsuits. One involved boy and girl twins born to Bonita Ford, a Summerfield native who is approximately the same age as Malone. The second involved a son born to Gloria Bell. Malone was 20 and Bell was 13 when their son was born.

When Williams was a sophomore at Lousiana Tech University, Karl Malone met Gloria Bell. She was then impregnated by him after which, she gave birth to Demetress Bell, their son. Karl was taken to the court for this and asked to pay $200 per week in support of the child.
According to a report by ESPN, it was verified that he was the biological father following a paternity test. He was then ordered to pay $125 per week by the court which also included previous and future expenses. The case was then settled between both of them outside the court.
Meanwhile, Malone’s son KJ Malone was in support of his father and released a statement asking to leave his father and his family alone. In a video shared by KJ on Twitter, he said in a very emotional way that his father was 20 years old at that time and committed a mistake. KJ admitted that his father was at fault when he was 20, but he does take care of everyone in the family and treats everyone equally. He also expressed that he supports his father after whatever happened. The video further involved statements that said that Malone takes care of KJ as well as Gloria Bell’s son named ‘Demetress Bell’.
The son went onto play for five years in the NFL as well and is currently aged 35.

KJ told people that, the people judging his father not just impact him but his mother as well. He then said that Malone was actually a ‘great person’ and that is why all the comments ‘really hurt’.
