As news came in of CDS General Bipin Rawat, his wife and 12 others being involved in a helicopter crash in Tamil Nadu, Islamists came scurrying out of their holes to rejoice. Social media platforms were fraught with messages from Islamists celebrating the demise of CDS General Rawat, comments which made for appalling viewing.

Perplexing enough, Baljit Bakshi, a retired Colonel in the Indian Army sent out a tweet which made for inexpplecibale reading as he talked about karma dealing with people soon after the crash.

CDS Gen Bipin Rawat, his wife Madhulika and 11 other people on board an Indian Air Force helicopter died in a crash near Coonoor in Tamil Nadu on Wednesday. “The Indian Air Force said, “Gen Bipin Rawat, Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) was on a visit to Defence Services Staff College, Wellington (Nilgiri Hills) to address the faculty and student officers of the Staff Course today. The last rites of General Rawat will be performed in New Delhi.”
