Following a dismal 3-1 loss at the Emirates, an old video of a Manchester United fan fainting in the Sevilla stands and sending others flying has surfaced
The video is of last year’s Europa League knockouts.
The Red Devils utterly broke down in Sevilla, losing their Europa League quarterfinal match 5-2 on aggregate, in front of the United supporters who had travelled to Spain.
Is the video of a Manchester United fan fainting in the stands vs Arsenal real or fake after it goes viral on Twitter
Youssef En-Nesri capitalised when Harry Maguire lost control of the ball seven minutes into the game to give United the lead. Two minutes after the break, Loic Bade increased the lead, and David de Gea’s error allowed En-Nesri to score again on 81 minutes. Anthony Martial was forced to exit the game after 54 minutes due to injury, capping off a miserable evening.
One fan, however, had the worst start to the evening as he appeared to faint in the audience. On the way down, he stumbled into the lower-row supporters in front of him. As a result, many others stumbled, but fortunately, they all seemed to be okay.
Arsenal 3-1 Man Utd
Arsenal and Manchester United had an exciting contest at the Emirates Stadium, with the home club winning late on due to goals from Declan Rice and Gabriel Jesus. The Gunners put too much early pressure on Erik ten Hag’s men, but a quick counterattack enabled Marcus Rashford to get in on goal. To give the visitors the lead right away, he produced a superb cut inside from the left flank and sent a shot into the far side of the goal. But before United could enjoy the goal, Arsenal surged down the left wing and Martin Odegaard equalized after Gabriel Martinelli moved the ball into the centre of the box.
When Aaron Wan-Bissaka clipped Kai Havertz into the box after the break, Kai thought he had won a penalty, but VAR reversed the official on-field determination. Two minutes from time, Alejandro Garnacho, a replacement for Manchester United, felt he had secured victory, but VAR determined that he was offside.
Rice encountered a Bukayo Saka corner kick chested it down, and beat Andre Onana to give Arsenal the lead during the eight minutes of added time. Later, Jesus scored a third goal to round off an outstanding performance and give Arsenal the victory.
