Squidward Community College is the name of a building that has been photo-shopped with Squidward’s face to create a series of memes.
Early in December 2019, the Squidward Community College photograph was shared on X and Twitter. Over the next few years, it became more and more popular, creating a tonne of memes and reposts.

In 2024, the precise location of the real building is still unknown despite search efforts however, the Squidward Community College is fake and not real.
The face of Squidward was photoshopped onto the front of a building in a phoney Google Maps screenshot shared by X user @snoutcam on December 3, 2019. The screenshot claimed to be of “Squidward Community College,” and in the window on the left side of the structure, one can see the face of a guy.

There have been several attempts to locate the actual building, but none of them have produced a reliable response. The picture appears to have first been available online in an airforcebase.net post about “Civil and Commercial Architecture,” specifically in the “Colorado” section.
However, the article has since been removed. It was mentioned as being close to Riverside, Chicago in 2024, according to Redditor u/Broken_Syntax_01, however this allegation is unproven and unverified.
The building has been used as a simple example of a flat roofed home design on many websites since as early as 2017, according to a reverse image search for it on TinEye. The building is said to have been attempted to find but not succeeded in doing so, according to YouTuber wavywebsurf.

Over the years, the Squidward Community College went popular and spawned several memes based on the picture. Squidward Community College enrolment, news, and information are also provided on a number of spoof websites that were also influenced by it, such as squidwardcc.org and squidwardcc.com.
The now-deactivated Tumblr user salancholy shared the meme on December 7th, 2019. A meme that was intended to look like an advertisement for the college was released on December 10th by YouTuber wow_mao.
Instagram user needless.mp3 uploaded a screen shot of a post-dated October 9, 2023, from a now-deleted X user. The post featured an image of the school with the message, “GOT ACCEPTED INTO MY DREAM SCHOOL OMFG.”
