Chum Darang is a social activist, model, and actor from the Pasighat community in Arunachal Pradesh, India. She has won numerous beauty pageants. Her victory as Miss AAPSU 2010 marked a significant turning point in Darang’s involvement in beauty pageants, which began in 2007 when she was just 16 years old.
She later competed in other beauty pageants both domestically and abroad. She finished as the second runner-up at Miss Himalaya 2015 and was a finalist in Northeast Diva 2014. The Miss Earth India Water 2016 pageant, which sends its winner to Miss Earth, she competed in and won.
