As some users have reported that their Instagram insights have stopped working and they have been getting a “error has occurred” message, Instagram looks to be facing issues on June 21. It’s not the first time that users have vented their frustration on Twitter. The platform has been having some problems over the previous few days.

Following their failure to receive any insights for their most recent post, a number of users resorted to Twitter on June 21. The notice they had been seeing said that an unanticipated error had happened and that the user was seeing it because something went wrong with the screen’s loading. The user was also urged to press the “retry” button and give it another go. The attempt did not seem to make an impact, though, since many people are still having this issue.
Instagram has not yet made a statement on this as of yet. However, it may be argued that it appears to be a malfunction given that other people have been having this issue.
Similar Recent Problems on Instagram and What to do if Insights not Working
People complained that their explore page had been automatically reset a day prior to the news of the insights being unavailable. The majority of the time, the posts one sees on the explore page are based on the platform material that the user frequently interacts with. Some individuals did point out that they had been seeing posts regarding the outdoors.
This had occurred previously as well. People had complained about a similar issue in 2020. However, their feed returned to normal a few hours following this incident.
Unfortunately, there isn’t much you can do right now. Given that other users have reported experiencing a similar problem, Instagram should probably address the flaw. In a few hours or a day, everything should be back to normal. No official statement from Instagram has been made as of yet.
