58 year old Eknath Shinde is currently the Member of the Legislative Assembly from Kopri-Pachpakhadi constituency of Thane, Maharashtra, India as a member of Shiv Sena.
He has been elected consecutively for the 4 terms in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly in year 2004, 2009, 2014, and 2019. He is in the limelight because of his rebellion with Maharstahra CM with him and 40 MLAs rebelling owing to the continous anti-Hindu agenda and policies peddled out by the MVA government ever since it came to power in the state.
Unabated false cases were spun, people trounced and arrested for posting against the CM on social media platforms and Hindu priests murdered with justice yet awaiting as Muslim appeasement was carried out at new scales.

For those not familiar with Maharashtra politics let me tell you a small thing about Eknath Shinde, while every fort collapsed or was shaken, Thane always remained intact for Shiv Sena, because Shinde handled Thane district with the same respect as dharmaveer Anand Dighe.

Eknath Shinde’s Family And Education
Eknath shinde has a son named Shrikant Shinde with his wife Lata Shinde. He has attended Uashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra University. His schooling was carried out at Mangala High School. Eknath’s father’s name is Sambhaji Shinde.
Like any other youth of Maharashtra from the 1970s and 1980s, Shinde was also influenced by Shiv Sena supremo Balasaheb Thackeray. Moreover, Shinde was also impressed by the working style of Shiv Sena’s then Thane district, the president Shri Anand Dighe, who later on came to be known as Dharmaveer Anand Dighe or Dighe Saheb.
In the past 10 years from year 2004 to 2014, as the MLA of the main opposition party in the Legislative Assembly, Eknath Shinde consistently raised several important issues concerning the state in general. He also highlighted Thane in particular, the most prominent being The Cluster Development scheme for dilapidated illegal buildings in the district Thane and MMR, the Thane Metro. Thane metro is a New Extended Thane Station between Thane and Mulund, he also highlighted the water scarcity, coastal security of the state, a Modernization of the Police Force, an Inflation, increasing debt of the State, etc.
After the Shivsena decided to join the BJP-led government in their state in December, Eknath Shinde was given the responsibility of Minister of Public Works. Shivsena became the designated chairman of the Maharashtra State Roads Development Corporation (MSRDC) under the authority of this ministry.
Uddhav Thackeray handed over the responsibility of his Health Minister to Eknath Shinde in January year 2019, seeing his efficiency and aggression towards work.
