2022 Hylo Open Badminton Doubles Category Results Today, Score, Winners, & Final Schedule
Treesa Jolly & Gayatri Gopichand, who took home the bronze medal at Commonwealth Games, were eliminated from 2022 Hylo Open semi-final on Saturday following a tough match against Benyapa and Nuntakarn that lasted more than an hour. During this clash, Treesa & Gayatri easily won the first set, but fell short in the next two to lose by scores of 21-17, 14-21, and 18-21. To secure match-up against eight-seeded Thai duo Benyapa Aimsaard & Nuntakarn Aimsaard, top-seed Thai duo Jongkolphan Kititharakul & Rawinda Prajongjai won their own semi-final tie with ease via score of 21-17, 27-25 in straight-sets.
Meanwhile in men’s doubles semi-final match, seventh-seeded English duo Ben & Sean suffered straight-set loss against Taiwanese duo Lee & Yang with score of 9-21, 17-21.
