Huddersfield Town new next manager odds and favorites names list

Huddersfield Town is looking for his fourth manager in seven months following the sack of Mark Fotheringham only in 21 games, check out the odds for the next new boss

Mark Fotheringham has been fired.

Mark Fotheringham was fired by Huddersfield, leaving the club hunting for a fourth manager in seven months despite the Scottish coach’s 21 points from 20 games in charge at John Smith’s Stadium during his 132-day tenure. The Terriers are 22nd in the Championship standings which put them one point above the Championship relegation zone.

Moreover, they were eliminated from the FA Cup in the third round by Preston, who also eliminated them from the Carabao Cup. As a result of Danny Schofield’s firing following the Terriers’ disastrous start to the season, they are now searching for their third manager of the year.

Following a five-game losing streak in the Championship, Fotheringham lost his job. His final match was a 2-2 draw at Blackpool on Tuesday, a game in which the Terriers were only denied a victory by Josh Bowler’s 94th-minute equaliser.

Kenny Miller has also departed the John Smith’s Stadium, therefore Narcis Pelach, an assistant coach who formerly oversaw Girona’s U23 team, is expected to take command of their relegation match against Wigan on Saturday.

Since Carlos Corberan’s resignation from his position as Huddersfield’s manager in July of last year due to differences with the club’s board, Fotheringham has been fired three times. Then, Danny Schofield, his replacement, was fired after just nine games and one victory.
