Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was far from impressed with LeBron James and his big balls San Cassell dance celebration

LeBron James has stayed in the limelight for a raft of reasons in the ongoing season of the NBA.

The Lakers man has found himself in the midst of a slew of contentious incidents along with his fracas on the court, false positive COVID test and his spat with Enes Kanter. Adding to these controversies was his big balls celebration against the Indiana Pacers with James pulling out the Sam Cassell dance after dropping a triple during the matchup.

James who was fined $15,000 for grabbing his genitals and pantomiming giant testicles between his legs has now been slammed by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar who was clearly not impressed with the celebration. The dance had first taken birth with the 1994 sequel to the film Major League with it becoming popular in the NBA by Cassell who is currently a Philadelphia 76ers assistant coach.

“For me, winning is enough,” Kareem said on a SubStack video.

“Why do you need to do a stupid, childish dance and disrespect the other team on the court? It doesn’t make sense. GOATs  don’t dance.”

The celebration had come after James served his first ever career celebration for elbowing Pistons center Isaiah Stewart in the face during a win in Detroit. James had returned for the overtime win over the Pacers a clash which also saw him lead to the ejection of two courtside Pacers fans who were said to be making obscene gestures at him. Reports had flown in of the fans wishing Bronny James died but were later said to be untrue.
