And the two were set to lock heads with the duo nailing down on a date for their clash. However, right on the cusp of their clash, Fury has now gone onto withdraw from the affair owing to an illness, one from which he has failed to recover in time. The 22 year old Love Island contestant had been struggling with cold across the length of his training camp for the clash which was set to take place in December in America.

Promoter Frank Warren recently revealed: “Tommy had a little bit of a cold but hopefully he is going to be okay.

“We are up in Morecambe so hopefully we will know more then, but he is up for it and he wants to fight.

While Tyron Woodley is currently said to be the next name who will take over and lock heads with Paul, Idris Virgo who was also a contestant on Love Island has thrown his name in the reckoning as well.
