FPL Team Building for 2022-23 Season now open as Unlimited Transfer Allowed in GW 16-17 Break
For the 2022–2023 season, Fantasy Premier League has returned, and managers can now assemble their teams. The launch follows four days of price reveals in which 219 Premier League players’ contracts were increased at each of the 20 teams competing in the top division.
During the six-week break between Gameweek 16 and 17, when the Premier League is suspended to accommodate the World Cup, fantasy managers are allowed an unlimited number of transactions. The two standard Wildcards are still available; however, the second may only be utilized starting in Gameweek 18 and the first must be used by Gameweek 16. This basically gives you a third opportunity to entirely change your squad.
Changes in FPL 2022-23 Season And Available Chips for Players
The site’s security, not the gaming, is one of the other main changes. Due to widespread demand, FPL launched two-factor authentication (2FA) in response to a wave of high-profile hackings in 2021/22. With the exception of the graphics, FPL appears to have not changed at all.
The only visible difference is the extra Free Hit that FPL awarded the players in a Covid-affected 2021/22 but the other chips (two Wildcards, one Free Hit, one Bench Boost, and one Triple Captain) remain as they were. The deadlines for every gameweek is still 90 minutes before the opening kickoff, and the scoring method stays the same.
In a typical gameweek, the player is allowed to make a maximum of 20 transfers. However, this does not apply when the WC and FH are active or when the player have unlimited transfers during the WC break.
