What is FIFA 23 Team of the Year & it’s purpose?

One of the most widely anticipated Ultimate Team features in FUT Team of the Year is present in the FIFA 23 version as well. With the World Cup coming to an end, 2022 was marked by a number of spectacular performances and late pushes for the shortlist. The wildly successful brand has produced an extensive roster of 100 stars to choose from, including World Cup-winning captain Lionel Messi, top scorer Kylian Mbappe, Premier League top scorer Erling Haaland, and numerous talents from La Liga and the Bundesliga.

Traditionally, the FIFA Ultimate Team of the Year is a limited-edition roster of 11 FUT players chosen by their peers as the top performers over the previous 12 months. The top players from 2022 will be included in FIFA 23’s Ultimate Team of the Year, and as a result, their cards will receive significant game improvements. Until the release of the following game, these 11 players and the “12th player” chosen by fans will have the best ratings in FIFA 23.
