2022 F1 Singapore Grand Prix Race Track, Expected Weather, And Other Details
For the first time since 2019, the Singapore Grand Prix is back on the Formula 1 schedule, and it will present the drivers with their toughest physical and mental test of the year. It’s not the hottest race of the year at 30 degrees Celsius, but the humidity makes it the most difficult. It can reach an uncomfortable 80% on average.
The 23-corner circuit, which has a combination of low-speed turns and little straightaways to give the driver a break, is the next challenge the drivers must face. And they will have to traverse it 61 times, which will take at least 110 minutes as per recent performance trend by drivers.
Though the Red Bull driver will need other outcomes to go his way, Max Verstappen may theoretically clinch the title at this weekend’s race. Given that Verstappen has won the previous five races in a row and 11 races this season, it is conceivable that he can extend his winning streak in 2022.
Verstappen’s lead over Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc, who is now fighting for second place in the standings, is now all but insurmountable barring an unexpected turn of events. With George Russell and Lewis Hamilton coming in on the Ferrari duo of Leclerc and Sainz, Ferrari squad will also be increasingly anxious about a resurgent Mercedes team.
