The first test of the 2022 F1 season has concluded, and attention now shifts to Bahrain March pre-season testing, a look at the schedule, dates, time, tickets venue, live stream
The first pre-season testing took place on February 23-25 in Barcelona, and was a low-key, pre-testing track session. The running at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, however, did not include live, race-style broadcast or live timing, as is customary with teams’ pre-testing-type events, but did contain content and top lap times at the end of each day.
The second pre-season testing will take place at Bahrain and will include a three-day event like the first testing at Barcelona. The Bahrain testing will give a sneak peek to the changes of teams and drivers following a major rule reform ahead of the 2022 season. The fans will also get to see the new cars and how they will fare compared to last season’s cars.
F1 Bahrain 2022 Testing Schedule, Dates, Time
The official F1 Bahrain pre-season testing session for 2022 will take place over three days. The event will run from 10th March to 12th March at the 5.412-kilometer length Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir, home of the Bahrain Grand Prix. The event is scheduled to run from 12:30 PM IST till 9:30 PM or 6pm-3am UK time during these three days.
Each day will consist of eight hours of running, split into two sessions in the morning and afternoon, with a one-hour lunch break in between.
The Bahrain International Circuit generally ensures favourable racing conditions, and it will also host the season opening on March 20.
Fans will only be able to watch the afternoon session on each day of testing and the gates will open at 14:00, as the morning test session comes to a close. 5,000 tickets have been made available for each of the two days of testing and the circuit is open until 19:30 on both days. Tickets can be purchased here.
