The boxing competition at the European Games 2023 will feature a total of 325 athletes from 42 nations.

Boxers in the men’s competition will compete in seven different weight divisions ranging from 51kg to +92kg. Meanwhile, the women’s fighters will compete in six weight divisions from -50kg through to -75kg. There are a total of 44 Olympic quotas on the line.

European Games 2023 boxing competition date and venue

The boxing competition at the European Games 2023 will begin on Friday 23 June with round of 32 matches. It will end on Sunday, 2 July with the women’s finals while the men’s finals will take place one day before on Saturday July 1. The Nowy Targ Arena, in New Targ, Poland, which has a 3,000 seating capacity ice rink will serve as the venue.

Olympic Games Paris 2024 qualification spots

There are either four or two qualification quotas available per weight category for boxers looking to book their tickets to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Boxers need to either win their quarter-finals or semi-finals, depending on the weight division.
