The Parco di Colle Oppio skatepark in Rome will host the world’s top skaters like Olympic stars Horigome Yuto, Rayssa Leal and Nyjah Huston, in the upcoming WST Street Skateboarding Rome 2023.
WST Street Skateboarding Rome 2023 format
The 2023 WST Street Skateboarding Rome will begin with a men’s and women’s open qualifier similar to the other Olympics qualifier events. The top 27 skateboarders from the qualifiers will then advance to the quarter-finals. From there, the top five pre-seeded skaters will then join the contest. From there, just eight skaters will enter the men’s and women’s finals on Sunday 25 June.

The top five ranked athletes in the Olympic World Skate Ranking will be pre-seeded directly into the quarter-final. As such, they will skip the Open Qualifier unlike the skaters from rank 6th to 30th.
