According to the official description, the game is still set in Los Angeles, and players will take on the role of someone who has contracted the zombie virus but is immune to it. Even if it’s not entirely obvious what that entails, they will still need to “harness the zombie inside.”
Dead Island 2 appears to be taking place, but it faces some formidable challenges. Since its introduction, Techland has produced two Dying Light games that have received excellent reviews and had brisk sales. It no longer just needs to be a sequel to the first Dead Island.
It also needs to provide something fresh and directly challenge the Dying Light franchise. For the time being, only time will tell if that is feasible.
Look at the summary presented below:
In an exhilarating pulp trip, Dead Island 2 takes players through the most iconic locales of the City of Angels, now tainted with terror, from the lush suburb of Beverly Hills to the eccentric promenade of Venice Beach.
With a variety of weapons and tactical (and brutal) options, combat offers the most dramatic, visceral, and gory first-person experience available.
