2022 Commonwealth Games Swimming Latest Results, Schedule, Date, Time, And Venue
In a competitive field, veteran Indian swimmer Srihari Nataraj placed seventh in the men’s 100-meter backstroke at the Commonwealth Games. The 21-year-old was fifth in the 50m split but was pushed further back in the difficult first lane to finish with a timing of 54.31s on Saturday. He was chasing an elusive medal in the able-bodied CWG swimming events.
The timing was much below the 53.77 personal best and national record time he set last year to guarantee his spot in the Tokyo Olympics. If he had repeated the performance, he would have won an illustrious gold medal.
