On Monday, the men’s team table tennis semifinals at the Commonwealth Games 2022 in Birmingham saw defending champions India defeating Nigeria 3-0. India used the same lineup against Nigeria as they did in their victory over Bangladesh in the previous match.

The Indian duo of Sathiyan Gnanasekaran & Harmeet Desai defeated Bode Abiodun & Olajide Omotayo in the opening doubles match at the National Exhibition Center by a score of 3-0. (11-6, 11-7, 11-7). Then, India took a 2-0 lead as Sharath Kamal, who is competing in his fifth CWG, defeated the ferocious world No. 15 Quadri Aruna 3-1 (11-9, 7-11, 11-8, 15-13). Olajide Omotayo, ranked No. 112 in the world, was then denied any opening by 35th-ranked Sathiyan Gnanasekaran, who won the match 3-1. (11-9, 4-11, 11-6,11-8).
On Tuesday, India will square off against the 2014 CWG champions Singapore in the championship match. Earlier in the competition, in the group stage, the Indian squad destroyed Singapore 3-0.

2022 Commonwealth Games Men’s Team Table Tennis Final Fixture, Date, Time, And Venue
The men’s team table tennis competition for the 2022 Commonwealth Games is held at Birmingham, England’s National Exhibition Centre from July 29 to August 2. On August 1, the Indian men’s team defeated Nigeria with a score of 3-0 to advance to the championship game.
