Lovely Choubey
Lovely Choubey, a veteran of the Commonwealth Games, is from a middle-class family in Jharkhand. She first competed in the quadrennial competition in 2014, and in 2018 at Gold Coast, she earned a respectable fifth-place result. In 2008, she participated in a national competition for the first time and won a gold medal. Choubey, who is 42 years old, works for the Jharkhand police. A gold medal in Mixed Pairs from an Asia Pacific competition in 2013 and two silver medals in Women’s Pairs and Singles from the 10th Asian Lawn Bowls Championships must also be listed under her name.
Nayanmoni Saikia
Naidoo Saikia In the Assam province of northeastern India, Nayanmoni Saikia was created into the world into a farming family. She began playing lawn bowls in 2008 and works for the Assam Forest Department. Nayanmoni gained notoriety after winning two gold medals in the National Games in Ranchi in 2011. In 2015, she won twice as many medals at national competitions as before, and in Delhi, 2017, she won the gold medal at the Asian Championships.
Pinki
Pinki, a physical education instructor in a reputable Delhi school, is a native of the city. Her school built a lawn bowling green as a practise area for the Commonwealth Games that year, which is how she first learned about the sport. Pinki has won numerous international medals and has previously represented India in lawn bowls at the quadrennial competition in 2014 and 2018.
Rani Rupa
Rupa Rani, a member of the women’s fours squad from Ranchi, has competed for India in every Commonwealth Games since the Delhi 2010 event. She placed a creditable fourth at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, narrowly missing out on a medal, before placing fifth at the Gold Coast Games in 2018.
