The new CoC Treasure Hunt event date isn’t known yet
Popular game developers Supercell making preparations to begin the highly anticipated Clash of Clans Treasure Hunt event this month, check out all the event details below.
Supercell were initially set on starting the event on September 11, 2024 but eventually delayed its release following some errors.

According to CoCโs September 2024 update, players will get a chance to earn chests with each attack, that includes exciting rewards, like loot, Magic Snacks, and exclusive Hero skins.
While Supercell have not revealed the new release date after the event was delayed, the last date remains unchanged at September 30, 2024. Players can expect a new release date in the coming days on the gameโs official X handle.

Clash of Clans Treasure Hunt event details
Given below are some of the details to keep in mind for the upcoming event:
Treasure chests
Players will find various treasure chests hidden within enemy bases throughout the event. Each base will feature a chest in one of three locations, notably toward the baseโs outskirts or deeper within. Out of the three building, only one will contain the actual treasure, while the other two will serve as decoys.
Red cross and Green tick
Players will either come a red cross (incorrect location) or a green tick (correct location) when destroying the structures. Once a player discovers the chest, they can choose to continue the battle or simply exit the raid.
Rewards claim
Players should note that after each attack, they should immediately open the chest and claim the reward. The event will allow players to collect three such treasures every 48 hours. The game will display the number of unopened chests as players gather them and access their rewards. The game will also provide a timer that shows the chest reset quota.
Clash of Clans Treasure Hunt event chest rarities
The upcoming Treasure Hunt event will offer various chests in four different rarities: Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. Players will get just four chances to upgrade the rarity of the chest that they obtain, allowing for better rewards. Given below are the odds of receiving each type of chest:
- Common chest: 58% chance
- Rare chest: 32% chance
- Epic chest: 8% chance
- Legendary chest: 2% chance
Clash of Clans Treasure Hunt event chest rewards
While players can expect all kinds of chest rewards from the upcoming event, it will also largely depend on their Town Hall level. The quality of the rewards will grow higher as a player increases their Town Hall level. Given below are the potential rewards that each type of chest offers:
- Common chest
This chest contains various magic items like Wall Rings and Power Potions, or Magic Snacks in Clash of Clans like Training Treats, or Mighty Morsels
- Rare chest
The Rare chest offers higher quantities of loot, magic items, and rarer items
- Epic chest
This chest provides better rewards like the Eternal Flame decoration or higher amounts of Dark Elixir
- Legendary chest
It is the ultimate chest reward, and can offer a Rune of Dark Elixir, Hero skins, or exclusive Hero Equipment in Clash of Clans
