While there’s still no official update or confirmation on what exactly lead to the contest being curtailed, a string of outlets have asserted that the match is off. This was scheduled to be Chelsea’s second encounter ensuing its 6-1 trashing of Portsmouth in a closed doors, secret friendly tie.
Hakim Ziyech had ended up scoring a hattrick for the London based club in that encounter with Thomas Tuchel trying out a new 4-4-2 formation in the second half of the clash.
